It was the weekend around July 7th, 2000. I had been with my family in Heinersdorf, a small town just behind the southern boundaries of Berlin-City, and were then driving along the route B101. Shortly before Heinersdorf we took a little street turning to the left and saw a strange formation in the field next to the street.

I stopped in order to have a closer look at the product. It actually consisted of a 30 m diameter crop circle that was somehow representing a simple symbol.  For sure it had a peculiarity, of which I had never read or heard previously: most of it seemed to be made of unripe, blue appearing grain- while the ears surrounding had the normal yellow color of the ripe grain, the formation was clearly of a different color.

My daughter and I went closer to the formation and saw that in the formation itself the ripe blades were depressed, but that uprightly stood the unripe, blue certificates however.  The crop circles had by the way a rotating narrow ring that we first recognized when we went closer. From the street, the formation can not be seen very well; one must already look attentively.

The circle was as far as I was able to see, exactly circular, whereby the outline width was about 2m and at two exactly opposite places a little bit wider, approximately 2.5 m. Through the middle of the circle towards the streets page was running a beam of about 1.5m extend, leading out of the circle line. The circle was surrounded by a very narrow external ring, also exactly circular.

The really peculiar was not the fact that only very few blades in the formation were depressed, but that the total formation was noticeable through the different color of the ears! It seemed to be as if the ears in the circle symbol (I believe, it was barley) altogether were not yet ripen, and appeared therefore bluish.  Such unripe blades were located also isolated in the surrounding field, be noticeable however in the predominantly ripe grain not further.  In the formation however, they stood close to thick and delimited themselves clearly visibly as a circle pattern.

I probably discovered it only because based on my special interest, I had been automatically and attentively viewing into each crop field for years. But previously I have never had the good fortune to see even once such a product.  Therefore I was even more surprised to discover such a miracle thing on a families excursion.

Naturally I had no camera with me at that time, but I will be going there again and try to take some pictures of it. I would really like to know whether this phenomenon of the different color is known.

I believe by the way that we discovered the product first, because no footprints or other impressions in the field were to be seen. Also none of the other picnickers in that area gave a notice to that product .
