We visited the Burghasungen formation at the 9.5.1998. The formation is very good visible from the distance. It is located close to the Autobahn, resp. the street from Zierenberg to Burghasungen.

The following aerial photograph has been taken by Wolfgang Schöppe with a small camera in a remote controlled small airplane.

The measures of the formation are the following:

Diameter of the central circle: 	7.10m
Diameter outer ring: 			9.20m
Width if the path:			0.8-1.0m
Maximal diameter (estimated):		approx. 30m 

It is not necessary to say that the plants were laid in an unusual way (see drawing). The direction of the plants was first to the bottom (east) and changed the direction than to south. The formation looked very well from the ground.
